![]() In Windows, choose Start > Programs > Adobe Animate CC. You ll begin learning how to use the Stage to organize your visual elements spatially, and how to use the Timeline to organize your elements temporally. You ll add a background, photos, and some decorative elements, and in the process you ll learn about positioning elements on the Stage and placing them along the Timeline so they appear one at a time, in sequence. In this lesson, you ll create a simple slideshow-type animation to showcase a few vacation snapshots. The first time you start Adobe Animate CC you ll see a Welcome screen with links to standard file templates, tutorials, and other resources. Synchronizing settings with CC enables you to save your application and workspace preferences across multiple computers. Note When launching Adobe Animate CC for the first time, you may be asked to sync settings with Creative Cloud. Tip You can also start Animate by doubleclicking an Animate file (*.fla or *.xfl), such as the 01End.fla file that is provided to show you the completed project.
